How to Care for a dirty pond with fish?
We're buying a home with a private pond, but the property is large and the pond is dirty. Can I do anything to clean that will not harm the fish? Is there anything I can do to help the fish grow? Added a source " on the average aid? If so, how and to what degree? I should have clarified before! The pond is large, about 1 / 3 acres and is packed with fish for fishing. Mostly it's just mud and really looks good.
I made a few 4'x4 'floating covers (no, not remain in them) and floating everywhere and helps the top to get oily skin of pollen in the spring. Fish also gives shade and protection. Beware of snakes, lizards, what the dangers are there. Oh, when the giant weeds left op excavated holes around the bank and used as fish nests.
