The importance of Koi Care
Koi Fish are by far one of the most popular fish, as in freshwater ponds. The Koi in the waters of thousands of ponds worldwide. Koi fish are unwanted by their different colors and patterns, that has to do with how long they can live Koi fish. I read that there has been that an individual lived Koi ripe ole age of 226 years, now that is a long-lived fish doing an excellent place for outdoor ponds.
In Japanese is Koi carp. In the years since in 1800 have been domesticated and are reproduced so that now we have a range of patterns and colors like red, orange, yellow, black, white, silver or blue or green. It amazes me to think of the patience needed for the fact that their diet and environment affect their colors.
Koi really not much, but schools are a very friendly and sociable with other fish. One thing to remember is that Koi tend to eat smaller fish so it is advisable to keep all the same size or you could find some become larger, while others get gone.
Koi Care should be taken when stocking your pond of the carp. This is due to the fact that Koi can become big fish. You really have to pay attention to the growing size so you are sure that has the right amount of water to keep fish in its current size. Some like to maintain a smaller pond that say five hundred gallons and will continue to to buy small Koi fish and give the greatest distance.
Koi includes giving attention to the fish with the elbow (end) room that is far healthier and pay attention to water quality is vital to the health of koi. Goldfish may be cheaper and allow you to fail a little more, but tend Koi to be expensive so you do not want to learn many lessons the hard way.
Note: Koi fish are cold water fish that do best in water temperatures that are between 61 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
It may sound scary and dangerous to the koi, but it is surprising that even a fish can grow in colder waters, making them able to stay outside during the winter. Of course, if the Koi Pond is too shallow the fish will become frozen fish to ensure that your pond is over 3 feet deep if you leave out.
