How long do I have to keep the Air Pump on for my 10gallon Fish Tank?
I bought a 10 Gallon Fish tank, how long till I can put fish in ? And how long should I keep the air pump on for?
You have to let the tank cycled for at least 4 weeks, and test teh water every week to see how is your ammonia/nitrate/nitrite/pH status. Then, after they all are normal. And, depending on what kind of fish you want to put in it.
And, you definitely let the filter and the air pump running during that cycle (I would).
And, even when you have cycle for 4 weeks or so, try with one fish first. And, see how is it doing in there for maybe 2 weeks. If it’s doing pretty good then add another.
