What bulb should I get for my aquarium?
Im getting a 48 "Jebo light that hooks on the 2 sides so that light could be there or could obtain a laying in the tank has 2 switches … and am planning to change the bulb or bulb CoralLife all crystals Aquarium …. bulb, but I want my cousin was for saltwater tank was CoralLife bulb machine was a blue and white can become bulb.u both or one of each, and looked very nice that I get and how many bulb # K I get … im looking Coralife 50/50 Compact Fluorescent Bulb Petco ar … but only theres a 21 "one … plz help
For saltwater, you want 10000K actinic or 50/50, focused on blue. Fresh water, probably want full spectrum of 5000K to 6500K, closer to daylight (white), but especially with red and blue. You need not spend much money on lighting in a freshwater tank unless you want to grow the plants. So if you grow plants, get a cheaper double bell T8 tube, instead of a compact power-Hood (things are expensive to replace). T5 is great, but more expensive than T8.
